Bronze Star and a Bullet

I've decided to come up with a list of 5 random things people may not know about me. When I think about more, I think I'll add them.

1. I'm secretly an old lady. I really don't do anything of interest unless I around fun people. I enjoy relaxing on my couch with a good episode of Mythbusters and a number book on a Friday night. Even when the fun folks invite me out, there's a good chance I'll say no... but 9 times out of 10, I have no legitimate reason. I am just a premature old woman.
2. I love my family. I would do anything and everything for them. When I'm not around them, I miss them. And sometimes I cry. When we all get together and do things as a whole, I feel all warm inside. Sounds cliche, yes, but it's true. I love them. A lot.
3. I would not be a very good mother. I can feel it. I have a lot of selfish tendencies and I don't much like being around anyone younger than my sister. I'm worried that if I ever did become a mom, I would be terrible at it and my kids would hate me. I don't want to ruin anyone's life. I also don't want to put my body through having a child. See. Selfish.
4. I am the last person I would ever pick to win a beauty contest. I know a lot of girls say this, but I mean it. I'm not looking for compliments or fishing for sympathy. I'm simply stating the facts. I find myself very unattractive. I'm not sure how any boy was ever interested in me in the beginning.
5. I want, almost more than anything, to be a successful person. I want to be able to provide for my parents when they're old. I want to feel comfortable money wise and only worry about trivial things. I want to live well and want for nothing. And I only want to rely on myself. No man, woman, or family member will ever have to take care of me financially. At least that's the goal.
